★Research Projects by associate professor Fujii and graduate students Ichikawa and Tomita win awards at an international conference
Research by Associate Professor Naoto Fujii (ARIHHP) and graduate student and research assistant: Aoka Ichikawa under his supervision was awarded 3rd Place in the Student Presentation Award (Poster) at the 21st International Conference on Environmental Ergonomics (ICEE 2026).
The study demonstrated that continuous hyperoxia inhalation during exercise in the heat did not alter ventilation but reduced heart rate and perceptual responses, and may also influence metabolic responses.
Research by Associate Professor Naoto Fujii (ARIHHP) and graduate student and research assistant: Yudai Tomita under his supervision was awarded 2nd Place in the Student Presentation Award (Oral) at the 21st International Conference on Environmental Ergonomics (ICEE 2026).
The study demonstrated that TRPV3 channels contribute to cutaneous vasodilation during local skin heating, and this response appears to be mediated via NOS pathway.
The award is presented to the top three presenters in both oral and poster categories.
