From August 19 to 21, 2026, Assistant Professor Ryuta Kuwamizu of ARIHHP presented his research entitled “Developmental associations among spontaneous eye blink rate, functional differentiation of the prefrontal cortex, and executive function in early childhood” at the 20th Motor Control Meeting (MC20), held at Keio University’s Hiyoshi Campus, and received the Young Investigator Award.
The award recognizes outstanding research by early-career researchers in the field of motor control and is selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of submitted materials, a flash talk, and a poster presentation.
As a recipient of the Young Investigator Award, Dr. Kuwamizu is also scheduled to give an award lecture at the upcoming Motor Control Winter School.
