★Research by assistant professor Sado and graduate student Tominaga has been awarded at an international conference
Research by ARIHHP Assistant Professor Sado and his supervisor, graduate student Tominaga, was selected and awarded the New Investigator Award (Poster) 3rd Place at the 42nd Congress of the International Society for Sports Biomechanics (ISBS).
The study examined lumbar kyphosis and pelvic anteversion during treadmill running at different speeds and found that lumbar kyphosis became tighter as speed increased, whereas the pelvic anteversion angle remained unchanged despite changes in speed, suggesting that although lumbar kyphosis has been assessed indirectly by pelvic anteversion in the past in clinical practice, these This suggests that although lumbar kyphosis has been assessed clinically indirectly by pelvic anteversion, these need to be assessed separately.
The award is open to all student members and researchers within two years of receiving their degree, and the top three winners will be awarded for oral and poster presentations respectively.
