★Professor Kitahara and the student presented the research achievements at the international conference (IWAIT2026).
Ayaka Shimazu, a graduate student supervised by Professor Kitahara at ARIHHP/CCS, made an oral presentation at The International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology (IWAIT2026), held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on January 12 and 13.
They proposed a method to pseudo-capture multi-view videos by having a subject repeat the same action while changing orientation in front of a single camera, along with a technique to correct three types of misalignments among the captured videos. The effectiveness of the proposed approach was confirmed through experimental evaluations.
