Research of Professor Soya and graduate student Fukuie in ARIHHP has been published in the international journal “Scientific Reports”.
This study examined the effects of groove rhythm, which induces the experiences of “wanting to move to the music” on the prefrontal function of the brain.
It was shown that people with a high familiarity with groove rhythm have increased executive function and prefrontal cortex activity by listening to groove rhythm.
