Two graduate students under the supervision of Professor Kitahara at the ARIHHP/ Center for Computational Sciences gave oral presentations at icSPORTS2024 held at Porto, Portugal on 21 – 22 November.
The paper by graduate students Yamagishi and colleagues received the Best Student Paper Honorable Mention.
Ayaka Shimazu, “A Human Pose Estimation Method from Pseudo-Captured Two-Viewpoints Video” (Aims to estimate the 3D movements of athletes from videos captured easily with a tablet device).
Shunzo Yamagishi, ”A Player Position Tracking Method based on a Wide-Area Pan-Tilt-Zoom Video” (Aims to estimate the position/pose of athletes from the tracking videos).
