Assistant Professor Monma, Assistant Professor Matsui, Professor Takagi, and Professor Takeda from ARIHHP have published their research results in the international journal “Cureus.”
The analysis of professional and amateur esports players revealed that using mainly mobile devices and being closer to the screen and face during esports play are associated with neck pain, stiff or sore shoulders, lower back pain, and eye fatigue. These findings suggest that poor posture leads to various physical complaints, indicating that ergonomic approaches are anticipated to provide effective solutions.
