★Assistant professor Sado’s early research career was recognised at an international conference, where he delivered an award lecture
In recognition of the early research achievements, ARIHHP assistant professor Sado was awarded the Hans Gros Emerging Researcher Award, and he gave a keynote lecture, entitled: Biomechanical inter-relationship between motor and physical features in maximal effort locomotion, at the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (ISBS) on 19 July 2024.
‘Hans Gros Emerging Researcher Award’ is given annually to “an individual who has excelled in their early research career (2-5 years post PhD) and has embodied the ISBS philosophy of applied science and ‘bridging the gap’.”. Emerging Researcher Award, which is awarded to ‘an individual who embodies the ISBS philosophy of Applied Science’ and ‘Bridging the gap’.
He is the second Japanese recipient of this award and the first ever recipient from a Japanese research organisation.
