講演タイトル:Extreme Environments: From Performance to Health
講演概要:
Extreme temperatures challenge both athletic performance and, increasingly, global health. This presentation first explores the mechanisms of neuromuscular impairment in cold environments, detailing a novel hyperoxic gas intervention used to counter these effects in athletes. In addition, we will discuss current advancements in optimizing human skin temperature measurement, a critical metric for clinical diagnostic and consumer wearable technologies, to better predict physiological strain, recovery, and illness across general populations.
