Evaluation on ARIHHP Activities
The activity and the status of collaborative work (joint usage and collaborative research projects) at ARIHHP are evaluated every year by the industry-government-academia collaborative evaluation committee (including members from external organizations), in addition to self-evaluations.
Collaborative Evaluation Committee Implementation Report
Implementation date: February 16, 2024
Evaluation committee members: 4 external and 4 internal members (External members’ affiliation: National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Osaka University, Niigata University of Health and Welfare, Mizuno Corporation)
Comprehensive evaluation:
- As a joint usage/research center for health and sports science, it has strengthened the foundation of academic research and promoted the development of new scholarly research. It is also working to solve the problem of the social implementation of research results by promoting integrated and interdisciplinary research with engineering and informatics, and future progress is expected.
- It can be said that it led Japan’s health and sports science research with its international-conscious research activities and high productivity even before it was approved as a joint usage/research center. In the future, we hope it will expand its current activities and consider plans and activities that will raise the level of health and sports science research throughout Japan, making this research field even more attractive.
- It has a well-developed research system that comprises the most human resources.
- We hope applicants understand that open research has many benefits, including financial support, facility use, and academic exchange.
